Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers Track Team who hosted the 2021 OIA regular season finale on Saturday at Pearl City High School. It was an honor for the opportunity to shoot the student athletes in action, especially the seniors who competed for the final time as a Charger on the track and field at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.
Thank you to PCHS Athletic Director Reid Shigemasa for extending me access to the facility to cover the track meet. My heart goes out to the families of the athletes who are not allowed to attend OIA high school sports events due to the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. I hope that my photos reach you and that I was able to capture your special Charger student athlete in action.
