Aloha Lady Chargers Class of 2021

May 11, 2021 | PC Sports

The Pearl City High School Lady Chargers Basketball Program recognized the 2021 Senior Class on Monday during Senior Night inside the school gymnasium.

Family members were invited to take part in recognizing each senior while celebrating their friendships, career accomplishments, and legacies as Lady Charger student athletes.

It was an emotional send off to a very special group of girls who always played with their hearts as they battled through tough league and post season competition throughout their careers.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions that has affected high school athletics competition; the Lady Chargers missed out on playing their final season as seniors in a Lady Charger basketball uniform. They will always be remembered for their “Charger Pride” spirit and leadership that has led to their successes on and off the court.

Kayli Frost

“What it feels like to be a senior is that it feels rewarding and relieving that we get to accomplish these things and finish off strong. I would like to thank my family and coaches for everything that they did.”

Kanoelani Quintal

“What it feels like to be a senior is crazy because we’re going to the real world right now. I would like to thank my family and coaches for always pushing me to play basketball.”

Jasmine Calderon

“Despite this year being different, it’s still really fun and really special being a senior. It’s honestly a memorable moment despite us being in COVID. I would just like to thank everybody.”

Tiari Hernandez

“Being a senior feels different, totally, and I would like to thank my coaches and family.”
