Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association donates to Pearl City Community Association Annual School Supply Drive

I had a lot of fun on Saturday representing the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association with a $500.00 check donation in support of the Pearl City Community Association Annual School Supply Drive held at Pearlside Church in Aiea. I was honored to present PCCA President Kelsey Poaha and PCCA Board Members with the check donation.

The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association and Pearl City Shopping Center property owner Duane Kurisu are deeply committed to giving back to our 10 Pearl City Complex Schools with annual monetary donations that directly benefit each school.

This morning’s PCCA Annual School Supply Drive was in honor of the late Senator Breene Harimoto who represented Pearl City as a Honolulu City Councilman and State Senator. He was also the Executive Director of the Pearl City Foundation and volunteered on many community projects through a few decades of dedicated community service. Senator Harimoto was remembered yesterday June 18, 2021 on the one year anniversary of his passing.
