I got up early this morning and headed out to Pearl Ridge Elementary School in Aiea to join the hard working community volunteers from the Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club led by President Dexter Aoki.
Club members and supporters spent a couple hours beautifying the school campus with chores that included; weed whacking overgrown grass and pruning back trees at the school entrance, raking up leaves in the parking lot, and picking up rubbish.
Saturday’s work day was phase one of a two phase beautification project with the club scheduled to return to the school campus on Saturday, July 31 to finish up.
Thank you to the Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club for letting me hang-out with them this morning as they once again, came together to beautify their Aiea community.
Have a great weekend!
