PCHS 50th Anniversary Book hits SHAKA 96.7 airwaves this Saturday, 8:30am

Aloha PCHS Ohana!

Tune into SHAKA 96.7 FM this Saturday, October 2 at 8:30am as we celebrate the release of Pearl City High School’s 50th Anniversary Book – Excellence with Honor: 50 Years of Charger Pride.

Host Lance Motogawa (PCHS ’87) of the MOTOGAWA MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT SHOW and co-host ERRATIC AL will sit down with Joanne Ing, retired Pearl City High School teacher and PCHS 50th Anniversary Book committee chair and Barry Villamil, PCHS ’77, PCHS 50th Anniversary Book marketing committee member, and MyPearlCity.com web editor. Saturday’s radio show will also welcome international star entertainer and singer Garry Moore (PCHS ’78).

Joanne will talk about how the anniversary book came together, as well as her experiences teaching and retiring at PCHS. I will speak about my role supporting PCHS through the years as a community leader, anniversary book marketing committee member, and content contributor to the book.

Lance, Joanne, Garry and I are so excited to come together as PCHS alumni and staff to reminisce and highlight this amazing anniversary book that speaks from the hearts of classmates, faculty, staff, administrators, and lifelong friends spanning 50 years of Excellence with Honor: Charger Pride.

This is so COOL! So many PCHS alumni, teachers and PCHS supporters worked hard while contributing to the success of Pearl City High School’s 50th Anniversary Book.

It has become a true treasure and proud testament of Pearl City High School’s 50 year lifeline as future generations of Chargers will have an opportunity to look back at how their school has evolved and how their legacies will someday contribute and impact the future success of PCHS as those before them have done.

TUNE IN SATURDAY TO SHAKA 96.7 AT 8:30AM FOR THIS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!
