I would like to recognize a very special performance and effort last night in the Chargers junior varsity football win over Waipahu.
Deyton Alipot scored a touchdown and kicked the extra point to tie the game at 7-7 with under a minute remaining in the second quarter. He kicked the game winning 26 yard field goal with 5:29 remaining on clock in the fourth quarter.
“Deyton scored all 10 points last night,” said proud Chargers Head Football Coach Robin Puahala. “He scored the touchdown on a reception, made the extra point & kicked the field goal.”
