HBA over Pearl City 53-30 in first round of HHSAA DII Girls Basketball Championship Playoffs

Hawaii Baptist Academy defeated Pearl City 53-30 last night in the first round of the HHSAA Division II Girls Basketball Championship Playoffs at Waipahu High School.

Emi Wada led HBA with 14 points with three 3-pointers. Shilee Scanlan-9 points (2-3PM) and Cordelia Seei-9 points led the Lady Chargers in scoring.

Pearl City will play Kalaheo in a consolation match-up today at Waipahu High School with tip off set for 3:30pm. HBA verse #3 Kauai will follow in a quarterfinal match up at 5:00pm
