Super Saturday ZUMBATHON raises $800.00 for PCHS 2025 student activity fund

My name is Danica Honda and I'm the President of the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees (and PCHS grad, c/o 2013). Wanted to share a neat story with you:

Saturday morning, we partnered up with the Pearl City High School class of 2025 to raise funds for their freshman student activity fund. The contributions help students with college and career readiness, graduation, and other student activities such as Project Graduation and Prom–especially with assisting students who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford these "auxiliary" high school experiences.

DATE: Saturday, March 26

TIME: 10am-12pm

LOCATION: Pearl City High School Cafeteria

As the first Zumbathon in the local Zumba community in almost two years since the start of COVID-19, we had approximately A HUNDRED (100) participants and raised over EIGHT HUNDRED ($800) dollars for the freshman class.

The Honolulu Chinese Jaycees is a non-for-profit 501(c)(4) that provide youth professionals (18-40 years old) in project management and professional development opportunities while giving back to the community. You can read more about us here: https://honoluluchinesejaycees.org/
