Congratulations to Pearl City teen bowler Samantha Kanehailua for placing second recently at the 2022 Junior Gold Championships in Minnesota. The Junior Gold Championships is the top junior bowling tournament in the USA.
Kanehailua’s outstanding success against top national competition earned her a spot on the Junior Team USA Development Team and a $6500.00 scholarship.
Kanehailua is an incoming sophomore at Pearl City High School and the defending 2021 HHSAA State Girls Individual Girls Bowling Champion. Kanehailua and her Pearl City Lady Chargers teammates placed third at the 2021 HHSAA State Girls Team Bowling Championships.
