The Pearl City Shopping Center welcomes in the 2023 Year of the Water Rabbit today, Friday, January 27, 2023, beginning at 5:30pm with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance Blessing performed by the Lung Kong Chinese Physical Culture Club.
The Lion Dance Blessing starts near American Savings Bank (Pearl City Shopping Center – lower level) and proceeds around the shopping center blessing Pearl City Shopping Center merchants. The traditional Lung Kong Physical Cultural Club Lion will make its way around the shopping center ending back at American Savings Bank.
The PUBLIC IS WELCOME to join in the celebration as the Pearl City Shopping Center and the Lung Kong Physical Culture Club continues their decades long tradition and partnership of celebrating the Chinese New Year with a Lion Dance Blessing and good wishes for a healthy and prosperous New Year.
