I had a great time at last night’s NIGHT MARKET held at the Momilani Community Center in Pearl City and presented by HI STREET GRINDZ & CRAFTS FEST. It was a busy Friday afternoon and evening for me as the I started off at the Pearl City Shopping Center’s 2023 Year of the Water Rabbit Chinese New Year Lion Dance Blessing performed by the Lung Kong Physical Culture Club, and later headed straight to the Night Market.
Congratulations to Hi STREET GRINDZ & CRAFTS FEST and Naomi Tully-Ungacta and her Pearl City Foundation/Momilani Community Center crew for an amazing event enjoyed by the community and their ohana.
The community packed the Momilani Community Center pavilion and on the field as they enjoyed a traditional Chinese Lion Dance, Hula performances, emcee Pipi Rezentez on the mic, music, awesome food trucks, specialty beverages and dessert vendors, and prize giveaways.
It was a great Friday in the Pearl City community amongst friends while celebrating and welcoming 2023 Year of the Water Rabbit. Pretty cool to be at two Lion Dance Blessings in one day in Pearl City.
