This year’s theme, “Adopt Aloha,” is a play on words for those who have adopted the love of their life (a new pup!) or adopting aloha by joining an amazing animal-loving community.
Fur-riends of all ages are invited to join in the fun at Fur-Angel Foundation’s 3rd Annual K9 and Keiki Carnival, which makes its return August 12. This dog-friendly, family event is a celebration of the human-animal bond offering entertaining and educational activities from 2p.m. – 6p.m. at Momilani Community Center in Pearl City. Families will have the opportunity to explore health and educational booths dedicated to providing information about the foster and adoption process. The event promises a festive atmosphere with games, local vendors, food trucks, contest prizes, entertainment, a bouncy dog obstacle course, a dunk tank with celebrity guests and much more!
“We are excited for the return of Fur-Angel Foundation’s K9 and Keiki Carnival, and to provide an occasion for the entire community to come together to learn about and promote the importance of animal rescue,” said Tiffany Kim, Fur-Angel Foundation executive director. “This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is an important opportunity for us to spread awareness about our work, share ways that residents can get involved, as well as to raise funds to ensure that we can continue helping more pups in need find the furever homes they so deserve.”

Fur-Angel Foundation (FAF) is a rescue operation that offers hope to dogs of all ages and medical histories.
