The Pearl City Chargers picked up an impressive 42-12 preseason win over the visiting Kauai Red Raiders on Saturday at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.
Chargers senior QB Trey Dacoscos threw four touchdowns passes completing 24-35 for 244 yards. Sophomore QB Jonah Galanto completed 3-3 passes for 38 yards and 1 TD for the Chargers.

Lennon Elder – 6 receptions, 67 yards, 1 TD
Koali’i Torres – 4 receptions, 60 yards, 1 TD
Tobias Vazquez – 5 receptions, 58 yards, 2 TD”s
Shaeden Talo – 2 receptions, 32 yards, 1 TD
Derek Kusano – 4 receptions, 24 yards
Chargers Rushing:
Shaeden Quemado led the Chargers in rushing picking up 72 yards on 12 carries.
Bobby Best – 56 yards on 9 carries with 1 TD
Shaeden Talo – gained 4 yards on 1 carry.

Kauai QB Racen Pegeder passed for 52 yards completing 3-12 passes with 1 TD.
Kauai Receiving:
Kyzen Bisarra caught 1 pass for 36 yards and 1 TD
Kaimana Kaui returned a Pearl City first quarter kick off 84 yards for Kauai’s first touchdown of the ball game.
The Chargers will open their 2023 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II Varsity Football regular season schedule on Friday, August 18 against Kaiser at Kaiser High School. Kick off is set for 7:30pm.
