Pearl City High School Interact Club honored at Honolulu Hale

Congratulations to the Pearl City High School Youth Leadership Interact Club for being recognized today by Honolulu City Councilmember Val Okimoto with an Honorary Recognition Certificate Award for their outstanding and heartfelt humanitarian projects that has supported those in need around the world.

The PCHS Interact Club were presented their Honorary Recognition Certificate Award in front of the full City Council at Honolulu Hale.

The PCHS Interact Club was also recognized for their most recent international humanitarian relief project, led by McKenna Runyan, that sponsored and provided water purification tablets for worn torn Ukraine that will turn 40,00 gallons into clean water.

The Rotary Club of Pearlridge is extremely proud and truly inspired by the PCHS Interact Club who continues to develop their outreach programs and skills that benefit those in Hawaii and around the world. We are also grateful for the opportunity to provide financial support and mentorships as a partner in the spirit of Rotary International’s “Four Way Test” and “Service Above Self”.
