Chargers strong second half overpowers the Golden Hawks 51-32

The Pearl City Chargers moved to a perfect 4-0 in league standings (7-1 overall) after defeating the visiting Nanakuli Golden Hawks 51-32 Friday night at Pearl City High School. The Chargers led the Golden Hawks at the half by a single digit 20-19 but outscored the Golden Hawks 31-13 in the second half to come away with a dominating and impressive OIA Western Division Girls Varsity Basketball win. The Golden Hawks are 3-2 in league standings (3-4 overall).

Chloe Balatao led the Chargers with 13 points. Maesha Muaau led the Golden Hawks with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
