Pearl City scored 5 goals in the first half and 4 goals in the second half to cruise past the visiting Waialua Bulldogs 9-1 last night in OIA Western Division I Boys Varsity Soccer played at Pearl Citty High School.
Manoa Joao Monteiro led the Chargers with a solid 4 goal performance. Seniors Katin Oh and Deyton Alipot each scored 2 goals. Jacab Greg Daguay rounded out the Charger scoring with one goal. Waialua’s Shane Kelly scored the Bulldog’s only goal of the ball game.
The Chargers finished the 2023-2024 OIA Western Division I regular season at 6-3-1, while the Bulldogs finished the regular season at 4-6-0. Next up is the OIA Division I Boys Varsity Soccer Championship Playoffs – TBA.
The Chargers also bid a heartfelt Aloha to 13 Seniors:
