It was so nice to catch up with John Rosa, a good friend and amazing classmate from the Pearl City High School Class of 1977. John recently moved to Las Vegas but was back on Oahu coaching in a soccer tournament being played this weekend at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex. John is a former Charger soccer standout and participated in multiple sports at Pearl City High School. He also coached soccer, football, and track for decades at Waialua High School on the North Shore.
It was great to see John back on the sidelines as the Bulldogs took on the Chargers last night at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium. He is still in tip top shape along with his trademark smile that is still the same after 50 years as friends.
Mahalo John! Good luck in the tournament and have a safe journey home.
