The Pearl City Chargers defeated the visiting Waipahu Marauders 44-34 last night on Senior Night at Pearl City High School. With the win, the Chargers moved above .500 in OIA Western Division I Girls Basketball league standings at 5-4 (9-5 overall), while the Marauders fell to 2-7 (2-9 overall).
Waipahu’s Amelia Heimuli led all scorers with 21 points. Kaiesha DeWeever led the Chargers in scoring with 18 points.
