Pearl City outscores Kaiser 4-1 to advance to OIA Soccer 5th/6th place final

The W4 Pearl City Chargers and E2 Kaiser Cougars battled through the wind and rain last night at Pearl City High School with the Chargers coming away with 4-1 win over the Falcons in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Boys Soccer Championship 5th/6th place semifinals.

Pearl City’s Katin Oh led the Chargers with 2 goals against Kaiser last night. Manoa Joao Monteiro and Jacob Greg Daguay scored a goal apiece for the Chargers.

The Chargers move on to the OIA 5th/6th place finals against the E2 Kalani Falcons on Friday at Pearl City High School with kick-off set for 5:30pm. The loser of tonight’s OIA championship semifinal matchups at Kapolei High School between W1 Mililani vs. W3 Kapolei and W2 Campbell vs. E1 Kailua will play for the OIA championship 3rd/4th place on Friday following the Pearl City vs. Kalani game at Pearl City High School.
