Mahalo to my fellow Mana Loa Nimitz Lions Club (MLNLC) members for volunteering their time this past Saturday to help clean-up and beautify the Momilani Community Center grounds in preparation for this Saturday’s (March 23, 2024) 3rd Annual Pearl City Easter Egg Hunt.

MLNLC community volunteers led by President Dexter Aoki, trimmed tree branches, dug out and weed whacked overgrown grass and weeds along the MCC fence line on the property grounds and along the sidewalk on Hoomoana Street and Komo Mai Drive. The volunteers cut and cleared vines from the fence line as well.

MLNLC volunteers were joined by Pearl City Foundation Director Naomi Tully-Ungacta who worked alongside the MLNLC volunteers throughout the early Saturday morning community service project that began at 6:30am until around 9:00am. Everyone did a wonderful job. The volunteers filled up two dozen bags of green waste for disposal.

The Momilani Community Center looks amazing for this Saturday’s 3rd Pearl City Annual Easter Egg Hunt where over 500 keiki have pre-registered and will have a fun time collecting Easter eggs for great prizes and hopefully a “Golden Egg”! Good Luck!

Mahalo MLNLC!

Proud to be a Lion!
