Before Pearl City’s Taryn Fujioka earned the distinction of being named 2024 PAC West Player of Year while also setting records for the Chaminade Silverswords softball team, Taryn also earned multiple all-star honors while playing Little League baseball in Pearl City and as a decorated Pearl City Charger softball standout.
I have had the honor to capture Taryn and her teammates in action while playing youth baseball for Pearl City Little League and as a Charger softball player at Pearl City High School. Taryn has always played with inspiration while leading the way with all heart and talent.

Pearl City beat Waialua 8-5 in extra innings on Friday, July 3 in the first round of the Hawaii Little League District 7 Majors Championship Tournament played at Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio.
Taryn Fujioka scored ahead of teammate Taylor Au with the go ahead run on Trevor Yoneyama’s 2-RBI single in the top of the seventh inning.
