By Dick Mosko, 2023-2024 President, Rotary Club of Pearlridge
As Rotarians make contributions yearly to our Rotary Foundation, they are recognized by our Rotary Foundation every time their aggregate contributions crosses the new $1,000 threshold with a lapel pin that has colored gem stones in them that signifies what next $1,000 threshold they have met. With our club member Ralph Portmore, he was recognized with a lapel pin that had 2 blue colored gem stones that signified he had passed the $3,000 aggregate contributions level over the years he had been contributing.
Congratulations to Ralph for his commitment to the purpose and focus of our International Rotary Foundation of Humanitarian, Educational and the well being of children and women around the world, especially in 3rd world countries.
