My prayers were truly answered today with a hug from a friend, Kay Bicoy, who touched my Heart and Soul as we reunited once again.
Early this morning, I received a memories posting on Facebook and Kay’s and my memories together popped up. So many great memories through the years. I realized how much I missed her and said a prayer for her and Coach.
As I was waiting to attend a lunchtime meeting with the school Interact Club at Pearl City High School, I heard an angel’s voice call out in the hallway, “Hi Barry”! It was Kay, glowing with her trademark smile, open arms, and Aloha in her heart. We hugged as the spirit of our heartfelt friendship wrapped around and through our embrace.
It was a wonderful and blessed moment to place amongst our most cherished memories that are guided and touched by the Lord above.
Kay is a beloved, iconic, and award winning teacher and coach at Pearl City High School since 1972.
