Each Good Citizen Award recipient received a $50.00 scholarship check and recognition letter from Rotary Club of Pearlridge Dictionary 5000 presenters.

The final RCOP Good Citizen Awards were presented on Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Elizabeth School during the school’s end of year awards assembly held at St. Elizabeth Church.

ST. ELIZABETH SCHOOL

Earlier in the 2024-2025 school year, the RCOP distributed 850+ free dictionaries to third graders and their teachers in fourteen elementary schools. Each dictionary included Rotary International’s Principles of the “Four Way Test”. Students who best exemplified the Principles of the Four Way Test were chosen by their teachers to receive a Good Citizen Award.

The RCOP free dictionaries and Good Citizen Awards were donated through annual funding from the Rotary Club of Pearlridge Foundation.

Congratulations to all the RCOP Dictionary 5000 third graders, teachers, and Good Citizen Award recipients.

Mahalo to RCOP Dictionary 5000 and Good Citizen Awards Program Chairs Emily Kuraoka and Grant Morisada for their outstanding efforts to organize and execute the annual program, as well as serve as dictionary and Good Citizen Awards presenters.

Mahalo to RCOP Good Citizen Awards presenters Emily Kuraoka, Grant Morisada, Dick Mosko, Rick Lau and club treasurer Gordon Arakaki.

I am also honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Good Citizen Awards presenter.

Wishing all the third graders and their teachers a fun and safe summer!
