Game 6 for the team was a 6-3 win over Arizona. Jodi Takara was on fire with four hits in four at bats. Ian Wicklund led the team with two RBIs. Chaz Villarin helped Pearl City get a lead in the first inning with a triple to centerfield, scoring one run.
Villarin started on the mound with three strikeouts. Takara and Murakami each threw scoreless innings to defend their lead.
After a three hour rest, Pearl City took on Oakland again defeating them 11-6. Takara’s bat was hot again with two doubles and a single. Wicklund, Englar, Adaro, and Propios each drove in two runs.
Adaro started for Pearl City going for five innings strong with six strikeouts. Murakami closed the game again.
Pearl City advances to the Championship Game tomorrow against Southern California at 1pm (10am HST). The winner of this game will advance to the World Series in South Carolina. Good luck PC!
