The Rotary Club of Pearlridge welcomed Hawaii Rotary District 5000 2025-2026 District Governor Nancy Cabral to their club lunch meeting held on Friday, August 1 at the Highlands Intermediate School Student Center in Pearl City.
Oahu Central Assistant District Governor Tina Doty accompanied DG Cabral and introduced her as Friday’s special guest speaker much to the delight of RCOP members and guests who attended the lunch meeting.
DG Cabral is a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Hilo (since 1988) where she has served as President, Officer, Board member, and Assistant District Governor.
DG Cabral opened her speech by introducing Rotary International’s 2025-2026 theme, “UNITE FOR GOOD”, and the focus of inspiring unity while connecting and serving together alongside District 5000 clubs throughout the state, as well as other service organizations, community groups, businesses, etc.
Increasing District 5000 membership and youth services that includes Interact Leadership Clubs and Rotaract Clubs was stressed and encouraged by DG Cabral. Also presented to the RCOP was the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Program and District 5000 clubs building upon and improving the life changing program for Hawaii’s youth.
Mahalo to DG Cabral and ADG Doty for speaking and spending their time with our RCOP membership and guests at our lunch meeting on Friday. They were wonderful and a guiding light of inspiration for the future of reaching our goals for District 5000 in 2025-2026 and beyond.
