The Kaiser Cougars (1-0) had their way with the visiting Pearl City Chargers on Friday with a convincing 30-12 non-league, preseason win at Kaiser High School.

Pearl City starting QB Ikaika Torres left the game with an injury in the second half that had an extreme impact on the Chargers offensive productivity and putting points on the scoreboard.

Kaiser senior running back Brady Kim turned it on in the second half and finished the game with 3 touchdowns while rushing for over100 yards.

Kaiser and Pearl City are both playing in different divisions in 2025 from last year with the Cougars stepping up to the OIA Division I from the OIA Division 2, while the Chargers dropped from the OIA Division I to the OIA Division 2.

Wishing Charger QB Ikaika Torres a speedy recovery.

GO CHARGERS!
