#3 Pearl City ran through #2 Kalaheo 24-7 Friday night in the 2025 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II Championship semifinals played at Farrington High School.
The Pearl City Chargers potent rushing duo of Aidan Minami and Alohi Gaspar combined for over 273 yards on the ground against the Kalaheo Mustangs defense. Minami rushed for 140 yards on 6 carries while Gaspar rushed for 133 yards on 17 carries with 3 touchdowns.
The Chargers will now take on the winner of Saturday’s (Nov. 1) semifinal match-up between #1 Roosevelt and #4 Castle for the 2025 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 2 Championship scheduled for Thursday, November 6, 6:30pm (TV game) at Farrington High School.
Pearl City, along with the winner of Saturday’s Roosevelt vs. Castle semifinal qualify for the HHSAA State Division II Football Championship Tournament.
