Roosevelt Roug Riders QB Kaeo Bush threw for 309 yards with 5 touchdowns and also scored on a rushing touchdown to lead the Rough Riders over the visiting Pearl Cit Chargers 42-7 last night in the First Round of the 2025 HHSAA Division 2 Championship Playoffs played at Roosevelt High School’s Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium.
Rough Riders slot back Riley Beal led all receivers with 6 receptions for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. Beal scored on a 79-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.
The Rough Riders advance to the 2025 HHSAA Division 2 Championship Semifinals against #2 Waimea at Kauai’s Hanapepe Stadium on Saturday, November 22.
