Congratulations to the outstanding Pearl City High School PCHS IBAD teams who were awarded second place and the People’s Choice Award in the American Savings Bank Keiki Co Contest.

The PCHS freshmen IBAD students representing two teams; Studi-Flow and SafeDrive were presented their awards on Wednesday, January 21 by American Savings Bank representatives in front of PCHS administration, students, special guests, and PCHS ohana.

The teams have showcased exceptional innovation and dedication through their projects:

    1. Award: $15,000
    1. Business Description: Studi-Flow is a comprehensive study aid combining a digital planner, reminders, and online resources designed to support students in their academic journey. It emphasizes organization, mental health, and motivation through personalized tools like playlists connected to Spotify.
  2. People’s Choice Award Team: SafeRide
    1. Team Members: Tegan Shadwick, Jayden Nieves-Inong, Izek Wicklund, Lana Watts, Zavier Alfaro
    1. Award: $5,000
    1. Business Description: SafeRide addresses the rising need for safety in e-bike riding among young people. The E-Bike Rider Certification Program aims to prevent accidents through standardized training, promoting safer riding habits in our community.
