The Pearl City Chargers rebounded from yesterday’s 10 inning 3-2 loss to the Leilehua Mules to overwhelm the Mules 11-1 (F/5th) on Friday at Wahiawa Middle School.
The Chargers improved to 3-1 in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division I Baseball regular season standings, while the Mules pulled even at 3-3.
Pearl City starting pitcher Talon Paahao earned the win while allowing 7 hits, 1 run with 5 strikeouts in 5 complete innings. Talon also hit a 2-run homerun. Josiah Reis took the loss for Leilehua. Reis allowed 2 hits, 4 runs with 2 walks and 1 strikeout in 1 inning on the mound for the Mules.
