Chargers no-hit, shut out Seariders 4-0 in OIA Western Division I Baseball

A combination of Pearl City pitchers no-hit the Waianae Seariders in a 4-0 shut-out win, on the road at Waianae High School on Friday in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division I Baseball.

Pearl City starting pitcher Talon Paahao earned the win with Naden Nihipali, Justin Kamanao-Bulosan, and Kysen Hueu all combining on the mound for the no-hit Chargers win.

Leading Pearl City hitters:

Jodi Takara 1-4, RBI; Jeiden Yamamura 2-2, triple, 2 runs scored; Tytan Takahashi 2-3, RBI; Talon Paahao 1-3, double;

With the win, the Chargers improved to 6-1 while the Seariders fell to 1-5 in regular season league standings. The Chargers and Seariders will play game two of their regular season series today at Pearl City with first pitch scheduled for 9:00am.
