PEARL CITY CHARGERS CROWNED 2026 OIA D2 VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONS! CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who captured the 2026 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II Boys Volleyball Championship Title in a 5 set thriller over the Kapolei Hurricanes on Thursday at Radford High School.

The Chargers defeated the Hurricanes (3-2) 19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 11-25, 19-17 to win the Championship Title.

Congratulations to Pearl City’s Josiah Talamoa who was named Spectrum O16 Impact Player of the Game. Josiah recorded 24 kills and 2 aces in the championship match.

Kapolei’s Noheakaimana Bogard was unstoppable as the championship match top scorer with 28 kills.

The Chargers finished the OIA DII regular and post season undefeated with a record of 12-0 while the Hurricanes finished at 10-2.  Both Hurricanes losses came against the Chargers.

Congratulations to Chargers Head Coach Sean Chang, coaching staff, team, and Charger supporters for an outstanding OIA Championship clinching 2026.  The Pearl City community is extremely proud of the Chargers who fought to last championship winning point. The were incredible and focused on bringing home the OIA DII Championship.
