Kaiser, Pearl City play to 4-4 tie (8) in 2026 HHSAA DI Baseball Championship Tournament Consolation Bracket

After Wednesday’s 5-4, 10 inning marathon loss to Moanalua in the first round of the 2026 HHSAA DI Wally Yonamine Foundation Baseball Championship Tournament, the Pearl City Chargers found themselves once again tied going into extra innings against the Kaiser Cougars on Thursday at Pearl City High School in a consolation bracket matchup. Due to consolation bracket time limits, the game ended after 8 compete innings tied at 4-4. The Cougars advanced in the Championship Tournament consolation bracket due to a tie breaker, while the Chargers post season came to end on Thursday. Kaiser will take on King Kekaulike on Friday at Hans L ‘Orange Field in Waipahu. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30am
