Aloha Pearl City Community,
This past Wednesday was opening day for the Pearl City High School bowling team!
Starting with Coach Millie Gomes Charger girls: although we were one bowler short, the four who competed bowled their hearts out. Zaylee Vergado-Duclayan led the team with a 176 average, while Journey Abadilla averaged 147. Teammates Hayley Rellez and Taesha Puu-Evangelista also made great contributions to our total score.

Charger Boys:
Off to a great start despite the difficult lane conditions and lane transitions. I know they will be better prepared mentally and with their equipment choices as the season moves on. Leading the Charger boys is Captain TJ Ichimura, averaging 170, followed by freshman sensation Roddy Asuncion, averaging 167.
