Pearl City over Kaimuki 7-0, advances to OIA D2 championship

Congratulations to our Chargers who went head to head with Kaimuki in a classic defensive battle last night at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.

Po'okela Moses-Espanto returned a third quarter punt 31 yards with 5:49 on the clock to score the game winning touchdown and advance the Chargers to the OIA D2 championship game against undefeated Waipahu on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Aloha Stadium.

Kasey Kikuyama had another stellar performance at his linebacker position for the Chargers recording 12 solo tackles, 3 for a loss, a sack, and an interception.

Pearl City QB Isaiah Asinsin proved once aagin to be a threat of

the pocket rushing for 47 yards on 10 carries with a long of 20 yards.

The Chargers defeated Kaimuki last night 33-17 in the OIA Division II JV

semifinal playoffs at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium The Chargers advanced

to the championship title game against Waipahu on Thursday, October 26

at Aloha Stadium. Waipahu defeated Roosevelt last night 42-6.
