The spirit of an American veteran is one with the symbol of our freedom. They answered the call to serve, protect, and lay down their lives as the red, white, and blue, stars and stripes waved above and within their bravery, courage, and sacrifice.
With each day, as American veterans are respectfully laid to rest, they are remembered honorably for their service and sacrifice as the symbol of our freedom drapes their hearts and carries their souls as they take their place in the realm of peace with their brothers and sisters.
Today we honor our American veterans with gratitude, respect, and appreciation for keeping all Americans safe at home and around the world while in harm’s way.
