Pearl City Chargers recent graduate and decorated all-star baseball player Zechariah Takahashi added to his long list of outstanding performances and awards by being named MVP of the 3rd Annual Chace Numata All Star Game played on Saturday at Joey Desa Field.
The annual Chace Numata Senior All Star Game honors Chace’s Spirit, Heart and Soul, Compassion to give back to others, and his iconic legacy as an all-star Pearl City Charger and outstanding and beloved minor league professional baseball player with the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, and Detroit Tigers MLB organizations.
Hawaii HIgh School senior standout baseball players from around the state of Hawaii are invited each year to play in the annual all-star game that perpetuates Chace Numata’s memory and message to all to; LiveLikeNumi. Zechariah created the LiveLikeNumi artwork which he presented to the Numata ohana following Chace’s passing on September 2, 2019.
Congratulations to Zechariah’s honorable and well-deserved MVP Award and performance on Saturday that was highlighted with a two-run homerun blast.
