Irwin Santos and Barry Villamil representing the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association presented Manana Elementary and Momilani Elementary with $1000.00 check donations on Friday, September 19, 2025.

The check presentations were presented to Manana Elementary School Principal Bryan Loo and Momilani Elementary School Principal Garrett Arakawa, along with staff in their school administration offices.

The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association financially supports the eight Pearl City Complex Area elementary schools with $1000.00 check donations that rotate between the schools (2 schools each year).

Pearl City Shopping Center owner Duane Kurisu is a dedicated supporter of education and generously provides financial assistance through the success of the Pearl City Shopping Center merchants and their businesses who have provided world class products and services to loyal shopping center patrons for over six decades.

The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association also annually supports Highlands Intermediate School and Pearl City High School through financial assistance for their academic, extracurricular, sports programs, and community service projects.
