Pearl City over Roosevelt 17-7, moves on to OIA JV Division I Baseball Championship vs. Mililani

Congratulations to the Pearl City Chargers who earned their way to the 2025-2026 Oahu Interscholastic Association Junior Varsity Baseball Championship Title Game with a 17-7 semifinal blowout of the Roosevelt Rough Riders on Thursday at Pearl City High School.

The Chargers will take on the Mililani Trojans on Saturday for the Championship at Pearl City High School. The Chargers and Trojans split their OIA Western Division regular season series. The Trojans defeated Kaiser in Thursday’s semifinals.

The Chargers jumped on Rough Rider pitching, scoring 12 runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back. Pearl City’s Noah Kawakami led the Chargers at the plate batting 4-6 with a triple and 3 singles.

Pearl City starting pitcher Justin Kamana’o Bulosan earned the win in 2 1/3 of work and also contributed at the plate hitting 1-2 for the Chargers.

First pitch for this Saturday’s OIA Championship is set for 11:00am on the HILL at the Chargers homefield.
