By Chargers Head Coach Cedric Yogi

“We are very blessed to have so much talent on our team, dedicated coaches, and supportive parents.  This is the second year in a row our teams swept the Western Division Championships. The kids wrestled tough and we got a bunch in the finals. We had some good semi final wins and some tough loses. The kids who lost shook it off and came back strong on the backside with a lot coming back for 3rd.

It was personally a special night for me with my son Christian placing third at his first West Championships and  my daughter Serah winning her 4th Western Division title. We also celebrated senior night for 20 of our kids. As a bonus for our finals introductions, Sgt. Chane Umeno from the Army National Guards supplied us with an inflatable tunnel and smoke machine to build some hype. It was a fun night. We enjoyed it that night then back to work.”
