The Pearl City Shopping Center welcomed the 2026 Chinese New Year, Year of the Horse, on Friday with a Traditional Lion Dance Blessing of participating shopping center merchants.
Mahalo to Ernie Loo and the Lung Kong Physical Culture Club who performed the Lion Dance Blessing beginning with fireworks at 5:30pm near American Savings Bank and traveled around the shopping center ending at the Grand Chinese Restaurant at 7:00pm with another blessing that included fireworks.
Mahalo to Lauren Mori Ushijima from 808 Craft & Gift Fairs who sponsored specialty craft and gift vendors, as well as food vendors much to the delight of Pearl City Shopping Center patrons and community.
Everyone had a great time bringing in the 2026 Chinese New Year together while mingling with Pearl City Shopping Center patrons, neighbors, and friends.
The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association is proud to sponsor the annual Chinese New Year Celebration Lion Dance Blessing with its decade’s long partnership and friendship with the Lung Kong Physical Culture Club.
