Pearl City sent their Lady Chargers Senior Class of 2026 off with a heartfelt Aloha and a 13-10 regular season finale 13-10 win against the visiting Kaiser Lady Cougars on Thursday at Pearl City High School.
The Lady Chargers bid Aloha to JAYCI KUROMOTO & SAMANTHA NAKAMATSU.
On Thursday, the Lady Chargers got back in the win column after losing to the Moanalua Lady Menehune 11-5 on Wednesday at Moanalua High School. The Lady Menehune won the 2026 OIA Eastern Division I Title with a record of 11-1 (league) 11-1 (overall).
Pearl City’s Lilyanni Mata picked up the win pitching 3 compete innings while allowing 6 hits, 2 runs with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. Haley Shinjo pitched 4 compete innings in relief while allowing 10 hits, 8 runs with 5 walks and no strikeouts.
Kaiser’s Brooklyn Uegawachi took the loss for the Lady Cougars pitching 1 inning while allowing 2 hits, 4 runs with 4 walks and no strikeouts.
