I would like to share photos and videos taken at the Highlands Intermediate School 2026 Student Council Induction Ceremony held on Friday, April 24 at the Highlands Intermediate Student Center. Over two hundred attendees enjoyed the ceremony that bid farewell and mahalo to the 2025-2026 Student Council and inducted and celebrated the incoming 2026-2027 Student Council.
Highlands Intermediate recognized the outgoing 2025-2026 Student Council for their contributions and success this school year that was proudly highlighted by being recognized as 2025-2026 National Student Council Leadership Award winners. Led by HIS Student Activities Coordinator and Student Council Advisor Mr. Eric White, it was a record 12th year in a row that the HIS Student Council has been recognized and honored as a National Student Council Leadership Award winner.
Mahalo to Mr. Eric White and Principal Mr. Lance Tanouye for the invitation to attend and for the opportunity to capture the special moments and lifelong memories made at the Highlands Intermediate School Student Council Induction Ceremony.
Also, mahalo for the ono meal provided and fellowship with the Highlands Intermediate ohana, special guests, and Pearl City community that followed the Student Council Induction Ceremony.
