Pearl City Lady Chargers finish runner-up to Champion Moanalua in 2026 HHSAA State Girls Judo Team Championship competition

Defending 2025 HHSAA State Girls Judo Team Champions Pearl City Lady Chargers finished runner-up to the Moanalua Lady Menehune who won the 2026 HHSAA State Girls Judo Team Championship on Saturday at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. The Lady Menehune outscored the Lady Chargers 113-96 to claim the team championship state title. Moanalua reclaimed the team state championship title after losing to Pearl City in 2025.

Congratulations to the Lady Chargers who won four individual state titles.

98 Lbs. Serah Yogi – 3rd place (Ipppn)

103 Lbs. Logan Teramoto – Champion (Ippon)

109 Lbs. Chloe Obuhanych – 3rd place (Ippon)

115 Lbs. Shaunty Gouveia – 4th place

122 Lbs. Kaylee Pavo – Champion (Ippon)

129 Lbs. Shaelyn Akau – 4th place

139 Lbs. Logyn Lynn Puahala – Champion (Ippon)

154 Lbs. Waverly Tamanaha – Champion (Ippon)
