Pearl City moves on to 2026 HHSAA State Division II Boys Volleyball Championship Tournament Semifinals after 3-1 Quarterfinal win over Kau

After dropping the first set 24-26, the Pearl City Chargers went on take sets 2,3, and 4 to beat the Kau Trojans 3-1 (24-26, 25-14, 25-10, 25-19) on Wednesday in the Quarterfinals of the 2026 HHSAA State Division II Boys Volleyball Championship Tournament at Kaimuki High School. The Chargers advanced to Thursday’s Semifinals to face Maryknoll who defeated Kapolei on Wednesday 3-1 in a Quarterfinal match-up.

Josiah Talamoa (20 kills, 6 aces) and Reven Otsuka (15 kills) led the Chargers in scoring.

Karsen Palido-Tuaifaiva (12 kills) led the Trojans in scoring.
