The Pearl City Chargers kicked off their 2026 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II regular season football opener Friday night live on Spectrum OC16 with an impressive 31-14 win over the visiting Castle Knights at Pearl City High School’s Edwin Bino Neves Stadium. Pearl City QB Jayden Delos Santos led the Chargers to victory with an outstanding performance through the air completing 19-32 for 199 yards with 3 TD’s and 2 INT’s. The Junior Campbell High School transfer was poised and efficient in his first start as the Chargers QB and also earned the Spectrum OC16 Impact Player of the Game. Congratulations Jayden!
Congratulations to Pearl City Head Coach Kama McKeague for earning his first regular season win while at the helm of the Chargers varsity football program.
The Chargers 1-0 (league) improved to 3-0 (overall) in 2026.
