Aloha Pearl City Community,
Just like that, we are halfway through the high school bowling season.
Our PCHS Girls team is currently in fourth place, led by Zaylee Vergado-Duclayan with a 164 average and Journey Abadilla with a 160 average.
Also contributing Jade Cho, Hayley Rellez & Taesha Puu-Evangelista. The girls continue to work hard and improve every week.
Our PCHS Boys team is currently in second place behind Mililani High, trailing first place by 220 pins. The boys are starting to master this very demanding oil pattern. Leading the charge is TJ Ichimura with a season-high game of 254, followed by Jamason Quides-Nihipali with a 231 and Zander Kamoto-Rafael with a 225.
Also contributing on the boys teams by averages.
Roddy Asuncion 166
Rylen Funasaki 152
Logan Uyesugi 149
Shane Savalle 145
Coach Millie and I continue to believe in our student-athletes and work to keep them positive both on and off the lanes, with the great support of assistant coaches Jimbo Pirtle and Trent Ichimura.
Thank you to our Booster parents for supporting our Chargers every week in matches and practices.
“One Heart One Beat”
Coach Tony
