#1 Hawaii Baptist Academy swept Pearl City 25-13, 25-16, 25-16 Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the HHSAA Division II Boys Volleyball Championships played at Moanalua High School.

Frederick Liva, Jr. led Hawaii Baptist Academy with a match high 15 kills.

Garette Kanamu led Pearl City with 11 kills.

HBA moves on to the championship tournament semifinals on Friday, May 15 against Kauai at Farrington High School. Tip off is set for 7:00pm.

Pearl City will play Hawaii Prep Academy in the 5th place consolation match at Moanalua High School at 3:30pm.
