Pearl City pulled even at 1-1 in the OIA Varsity Football White Division after defeating Waialua 38-12 on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium on the campus of Pearl City High School.
Pearl City starting QB Jordan Taamu led the Chargers with 201 yards through the air and 3 touchdowns. Taamu also rushed for 56 yards.
